Not really. It has become Immingham Token Exchange Point and is only manned when required for trains to use the Light Railway to Grimsby. The rest of the signalling is controlled from York ROC.

As above. Immingham East was de-manned as of 24th December 2015 when the blockade was put in place and a new panel will have been installed to replace the previous one. The token machine to Pyewipe Road has been retained.

Re your original reference to crossings were you aware that New Barnetby and Barton Lane crossings have been closed as part of the North Lincs resignalling ?? Well not closed but de manned ? New Barnetby controlled by York ROC and Barton Lane is now an ABCL - X monitored by Goxhill.

Great Coates and Pyewipe are both still extant, both manned only as required which is for maintenance work, test trains or diversions. There are no scheduled services.

Great Coates now works to Pyewipe Road as previously with acceptance levers and to York ROC in lieu of the now abolished Marsh Junction.

Pyewipe now works to the ROC in the form of Immingham Token Exchange Point

The Sectional Appendix shows the crossing as CCTV within the control area of Three Bridges. Not that it is controlled by Three Bridges, that is your assumption.

Therefore, any train driver stopped at the protecting signals for Littlehaven and using the phone or cab secure radio would expect to contact Three Bridges. Presumably the Crossing Operator at Littlehaven is supervised by Three Bridges and consequently a driver does not need to know who controls the crossing.

In my view, this is no different to an MCB-OD arrangement, the train driver doesn't need to know how the crossing operates, only who to contact if there is a problem.

That was indeed the plan.

It sounds to me as if there is some issue with the implementation of the CCTV that requires an observer at Littlehaven to be retained.

Why didn't you ask him when you talked to him on the phone?
