After the resignalling back in circa 96, Manor Way became a normal MCB-CCTV, and remained that way until the high speed link to St Pancras came along.
As part of the HS1 works, they completely closed Dagenham Dock, Rainham became pedestrian only, but with no change to its look or operation. Purfleet Rifle Range became a UWC (staff access only), and the width of Manor Way was changed, as previously mentioned bollards were fitted, and "Gardeners Controls" were fitted to the crossing, which now meant it became a request crossing. Users now press a button the same as a pelican crossing, which alarms in UPMINSTER IECC, when possible the signaller will raise the crossing, and if it isn't lowered for a train within a reasonable time, an alarm will sound to lower the barriers.
It still has CCTV, just operates a bit different, but the same as Gardeners LC which is on the same line.
