A question has been asked on another group about a seemingly unnecessary connection here.
There are two groups of sidings on the up side south of the station. From the group nearest the main line there is a single slip onto a connection from the up relief towards the loop on the Ebbw Vale line and almost immediately afterwards another lead which appears to be completely superfluous. Yet there was no connection from the second set off sidings towards Six Bells.
