GWR Signal Fitting Catalogues

Unread postby Adrian Crafer » Sat Dec 12, 2015 1:10 am

I was recently asked to look into making some replacement parts for token machines. I realised while checking my own catalogue, and the 1960s Reading Green Catalogue that a part for the Standard token machine and the two slot Intermediate token machine had the same pattern number. The parts carry out similar functions in that they form the token magazine. Internal on the standard machine, and external on the two slot. They are however completely different castings.

Does anyone have a copy of the Swindon stores signalling catalogue that features parts in the V-Z series that they could let me have a photocopy of the relevant pages (ageed costs will be reinbursed). The standard 1908 signal fittings catalogue stops at U. If have seen briefly the other volume, but not had one to study.

Thanks in advance.
