Recently looking on the webb about Fords internal railway Dagenham I came across a picture showing a group of lines converging with 5 two aspect Westinghouse signals .Were these controlled from a ground frame or panel? Anyone know please. A strange use for a 4 aspect GRS searchlight signal could be noticed on the upside approaching Dagenham Dock fixed on the side of one of their buildings approx. 30 ft. in the air at right angles to the track.I never saw it displaying an aspect all the times travelling past on a train. Whether the building has gone which may have been part of the foundary I will check when travelling by train.
