I have been asked by a friend:-

"When, in the late 1950s, was Greenford Signal Box closed and when was it demolished (in conjunction with the quadrupling of tracks/tunnels in Hadley Wood area on ECML)?"

Well off my parish :-) Can anyone help please?

I think you mean Greenwood, it closed 26/4/59.

Three pages about the place at viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1097
