Forum inaccessible overnight

Unread postby John Hinson » Wed Jul 21, 2010 8:59 am

Please accept my apologies for the inaccessibility to this forum from late yesterday evening.

The database system on the server stopped working, unfortunately at the time this occurred one small part of the database was being written to and got damaged. The database system was soon running again, and although other sites on the server were running fine, the forum had to await rebuilding of the errant file.

This is now done and "normal services are resumed".

Thanks for your patience.

John

I'll give you a demonstration if we miss a connection around Darjeeling. I admit I don't do it as well as Emma Jesson (see 'Naughtiest Blunders' TV programme).
