5 Years of the Signalbox Signalling Discussion Forum

Unread postby S&TEngineer » Fri Nov 9, 2012 3:12 pm

I have suddenly realised that this forum has now been running in its current format for exactly five years. I hope that you will all join me in extending thanks to John for running such a succesful and informative site (and for keeping us all in order as well and hopefully not having had to send out any Form 1s  )
Regards,
S&TEngineer

Gosh, how time flies these days! But I echo Chris's sentiments 100% - a big 'thank you' to Mr. Hinson for his excellent work over the years.

Very happy to endorse all that's been already said. Seems no time at all since we were on the old 'Blower'.

Much appreciate your creating and maintaining this facility John, and no doubt doing so takes much more effort than most users readily appreciate.
Long may you continue to have the will and ability to keep it going, without it becoming more of a drudge than anything else.

Thanks, all. It wouldn't survive without the input, though.

It does . . . but I do have some help these days. Thanks are due to the three concerned, who relive me from the day-to-day pressure.

John

Edit . . . "relive me"? I guess you figured I meant "relieve".

I'll also add my thanks for a highly enjoyable (and exasperatng but in a good way) forum.

We've now got an very broad spread of members and we can usually tease out the most obscure bits of information but there are always those little mysteries that fellow members seem to find!
ND: Why is there a door handle on the inside of my airing cupboard?
MF: Because it's the fire exit from Narnia.

I like David Lynch films. I don't consider incomprehension to be a barrier to enjoyment.
