7 of us met. The 2 demonstration frames in the museum were operated with good co-operation from the local staff. Much conversation took place. Following the 3o'clock landslide some if us were delayed getting home with bustitution between Leamington & Banbury. Roll on St. Albans.

Eight, actually! A most enjoyable occasion.

It appears that there has been a significant bank slip on the up side at the north end of Harbury tunnel, which is likely to take some time to stabilise. Very disappointing for Chiltern and the other operators who use the route. I found out at Moor Street, walked briskly over to the rival establishment and probably got home quicker than if I had used my booked route (baled out at Watford Jn and got the Met!).

Nice relaxed time at Kiddie, good to see those who came along.

This is the best shot I could get of the green banner:

Do we continue this thread for a St Albans get-together or start a new one?

There's one Saturday date in June - the 6th - not available now due to another commitment by the box members, and we are open publically on the afternoons of Sunday 14th and 28th June, but that shouldn't affect the Saturdays at all.

An excellent meeting at Kidderminster .... Good company, good and interesting conversation and excellent beer.

Thank you all. Sorry for those returning via Banbury - most frustrating.

Cheers,

Richard

PS - Perhaps sensible to start a new thread for each meeting, with the location in the title!

Yes it was nice to see you all again. I think I benefitted from the problems at Banbury, a near empty voyager on the 1830 to Newcastle!
