Just watched the new DVD by VIDEO 125 this is Four ( and a bit ) cab rides on the branch lines between Paddington and Reading the first is the Greenford branch you travel all the way from Paddington you see some green banner repeaters on the way the second is the Windsor and Eton central line you see the final track layout and signals ( See an earlier thread on this subject ) it now has a nice sweeping curve that cuts across both the old east loop and the bay line the old track was still there in places what is the big trench on the down side near the road over bridge for ? . The bit is a short run (starting from slough up distant ) coming back just to see the new track and signals from the other direction thats nice ! !. Next is the Marlow branch you see the switch panel at Bourne end being used and the NSKT machine etc i see platform 2 now has a colour light starting signal .And last is the Henley line ,the terminus has now lost its home signal and distant signals . All in all not bad with most being filmed on a sunny day the only let down is no trip down the Brentford and Colnbrook branches that would have been great but you cannot have everything.
