A performance improvement plan published recently refers to Kingussie no.5 signal upgrade - the only diagram I can find shows kingussie 5 as the points at the north end of the loop?

No.5 is definitely the points and 6 the FPL,

Last I heard was that the banner repeater for No.3 is being upgraded to fibre optic.

No 3 should have been converted this weekend.

It was converted this morning, mores the pity. There is a big scheme in the pipeline for the Highland Mainline but it's not entirely clear what's involved yet.
