Saltley PSB 1969-2016

Unread postby Lee » Fri Nov 4, 2016 7:34 pm

Now in its final few days, Saltley once controlled a huge amount of the West Midlands railways. Its last panels, the South Top and the temporary Redditch Branch panel, pass duty to the new Kings Norton and Bromsgrove Workstations in the WMSC at the beginning of next week.

So long SY PSB

How much of the original panel remains on site ,with the resignalling stages did they fit covers over the panel layouts as they were transferred to the new control centres,or remove the panel facia control buttons and switches.

Some were definitely removed. I'll have to look at my last visit's photos to see if any disabled items remained. That was a while ago when about half the panel was still active, so later anything could have been done.

No. It was current when the discussion started. There should be nothing more to discuss now.

If you are in that section, that is for sending a private message to an individual person.

If you want to make a new post on the forum, go to the section you wish to post in (e.g. Signaling - Current) and you will see at the top of that section a button for Post a new topic. (You can get to any section by clicking on the link near the top of each page that says Board Index).
