If they are different configurations (there are six!) you won't be able to do more than getting the galvanometer to respond at the other end.

Could you outline the " six" variants

We have now looked at the three possible candidates , of which we'd like to get two working ones , there are no AB sets . Two of them have the coil and its lifters armature missing , and both galvos are missing , we have one machine with coils and a galvo and " some " remaining brass work ( also includes starter locking key mechanism , missing from other two )
We had hoped the third machine was more complete , but sadly it's not
The options are

( a) abandon project , now looking likely

(B) acquire parts , not easy to find out where they might be

(C) fabricate duplicates based on the one unit we have that is more or less complete. Winding the coils isn't difficult and the metal work is possible , but likely to be expensive

All of them had all or nearly all the brass parts striped off then also , plungers, staff out indicators etc

Hard to know what to do now, the best might be to get the one going , and we could drive it from some electronics to simulate the other ETS unit

Just six configurations of collars on the staffs. If they are the same letter from A-F, they're a pair.

Thanks for that knowledge , I think the least of our issues are finding or making a pair
