Signalling on heritage railways

Bo'ness

Due to an eye operation in January I have been absent for a while from activities there, however over the winter there have been a couple of developments that may interest. The ex Stirling bracket signal, which had the last LQ arm in Scotland has been restored and planted in a suitable location. Also the Dutton frame, ex Rogart South, ex NRM has been gifted to us and has also been restored and is on display in the museum as a "hands on" exhibit. I'll take the camera at the weekend and get some pics.

Regards
Martin

Good news. Are there any firm plans yet for a 2nd box at Kinneil or Birkhill and if one is progressed will the Tyer's 7 instruments be used.

I visited Bo'ness in August. I was quite impressed with the collection of artefacts in their museum. It's worth a visit just to see everything they've got.
