Raven Square, WLLR.

On a recentish trip to the Welshpool and Llanfair railway I looked in vain to see Raven Squares' home signal! I presume there is one, there is a lever in the box. Assuming there is one, what form does it take? Any pictures?

It's an LNW frame. I will sort out some pictures Pete.

Flickr link LINK click through the set.
ND: Why is there a door handle on the inside of my airing cupboard?
MF: Because it's the fire exit from Narnia.

I like David Lynch films. I don't consider incomprehension to be a barrier to enjoyment.

Yes yes, there is clearly meant to be a home signal, operated by lever No1 and the diagram shows what appears to be a colour light. My point is that despite looking out for it I didn't see it so is it actually there (I would have thought so but----)?

Removed by previous management, together with the Up Advanced Starter at Llanfair.

Plans are there to put it back.

How odd. Raven Square retains an advance starter which seemsa bit pointless with no home signal of any sort. As the frame does not appear to be locked by the staff, I wonder what the working arrangements/instructions are? I have the impression that the platform and advance starter are left off for arriving trains. If that is the method of working, it seems very strange.

I quite agree. More best discussed over a pint.
