This is definitely going ahead. All welcome. We will meet in the NRM at York about 11am then go on to a pub for beer, food and natter. Let us know if you're coming particularly if you have not met any of the regulars before.

Afraid I can't make this date either - it's another 3rd Saturday in the month and it clashes with something else.

Sadly, the logistics for York don't add up.

Enjoy, and have a pint for me!

From experience of the last visit to York for a meeting (cough) I learnt there were two entrances - which one are we meeting at?

Just looked up my journey and nearly fainted when I saw the price! How nice I don't have to pay . . .

I suggest the main entrance, on the south side of Leeman Road. The shop is just inside, so it's possible to lurk there, trying not to buy anything, until people (all three of us, or is anyone else coming?) turn up.

Sounds good to me. I may be on the same train as you from the Cross.

My apologies. I won't be able to make this event - a pity really. Hope you all have a good day.

I could've made this date, but unfortunately only now catching up on these Forums having only just returned from being on hols. that commenced on 26th Feb. and during which had no good enough internet access, so I didn't know until now that this date was shaping up with sufficient enthusiasm to be a 'go-er'.

Hope you 3+ attendees enjoy the day, and if you see this before leaving York and seeing the L&Y School signalling/train layout setup in 'The Warehouse' at the NRM, especially Phil Graham doing his usual commentary on the demonstrations of it, say hello to him from me.
