Absolute Block description - what about other protocols?

Unread postby GJCHURCHWARD » Sun Feb 13, 2011 6:13 pm

Just joined this forum, and very pleased it's appeared.

I often visit the description of Absolute Block signalling on the main site. It's very informative for someone like me who just needs to see how it works. However - something similar to describe Permissive Block, or the various flavours of single-line working - would perhaps be of even more benefit to modellers. I approached John Hinson about this some years ago, and he had no plans to add anything further. Perhaps someone else is prepared to produce something along similar lines?

Just to state my position on this . . . I just don't have the time at the moment.

If anybody would like to put something suitable together (along the same lines as my AB article) I would be happy to add it to the site alongside mine, with full credit of course. Assuming they don't want to host it on their own site, that is.
